Jester - The adventure of a curious cat

Jester is a story about a clever cat that goes missing at Muriwai Beach, Auckland, and needs to be rescued by the local volunteer fire brigade. This tale is inspired by true events and is a tribute to the heroic efforts of New Zealand's volunteer firefighters. 

In February 2023 Muriwai was hit hard by Cyclone Gabrielle. The area’s volunteer fire fighters did an amazing job. They evacuated families and rescued many trapped residents. This book is a tribute to all the amazing volunteer fire fighters around New Zealand who selflessly serve their communities in times of need. And in Jester’s case, when curious, clever cats need rescuing. 

A portion of the sale of this book will be donated to the Muriwai Volunteer Fire Brigade.
